Instructions

Equipment Needed:

  1. Socket Wrench with a 7mm bit
  2. Pliers
  3. Flat Head Screw Driver
  4. Replacement or Aftermarket bulb or Fog Lamp Assembly
  1. This is the Driver's side fog lamp assembly. These instructions apply to the Passenger's side as well.

  1. Look for these "Pin-Screws" just underneath the black mesh.
  2. Pull the smaller inner tab downward using the Flat Head Screw Driver.
  3. Now pull the larger outer tab downward to remove the 2 Pin-Screws. Set aside.
  1. Pull the black 4x4 square mesh downward pivoting at the base.
  2. Remove the entire unit and set aside.
  1. Using the Socket Wrench with the 7mm bit unfasten the bolts indicated by the yellow arrows.
  2. Remove the bolts and set aside.
  3. The Fog Lamp Assembly will rotate out pivoting at the right most part of the fog lamp (ref. while facing the fog lamp).
  1. If you are only replacing the Fog Lamp Assembly, simply disconnect the electrical connector seen near the top the picture. Plug in the connector to your New Fog Lamp Assembly.
    • Just follow the steps in reverse to put everything back together
    • You are Done!!!
  2. Pull on the metal loop toward you to release the front half from the back half of the Fog Lamp Assembly.
  1. This exposes two blue rubber electrical boots.
  2. Simply pull upwards on the boots
  3. Note: Remember which boot goes to which prong.

  1. To release the actual Fog Lamp Bulb, two separate metal wires hold it in.
  2. Simply unfasten each one by compressing one wire at a time inward, then up and out.
  3. When the wires are properly unfastened, they should look like the second picture.
  4. Carefully retrieve the Fog Lamp Bulb using the pliers.
  5. Do Not Touch the new Bulb's glass because the oils from your finger will cause the bulb to burn out sooner than expected.
  6. Use the pliers again to grab the New Bulb at the metal connectors (where the blue boots attach) and place it into the Fog Lamp Assembly.
  7. Note the bulb goes in with a specific orientation. Note the base of the fog lamp bulb fits in between two prongs.
  8. Now put everything back together. Just follow the instructions backwards to close everything up.
  9. Test to see that your fog lamps do come on before putting everything back together.
